Here are a few more reasons to love the Pacific Northwest – the awesome people, delicious coffee, and the breath-taking scenery. These engagement photos in Bellingham took us to the beautiful Whatcom Falls Park where we walked a top large boulders, next to a huge waterfall, and through some incredible Evergreen trees.
Although their families had the official engagement ceremony, which is typical within Indian tradition, Sunny was waiting for the perfect opportunity for a surprise proposal. When Jasmin was turned away from him, he got down on his knee and pulled out the ring and that’s when she turned around completely surprised!
For those who grew up in the Pacific Northwest, we know that a little rain is no big deal, especially when you’re prepared with an awesome red umbrella.

A huge thanks to Sunny and Jasmin for being so awesome, and to my brother, Tanvir, for his help during this session!
A beautiful, intimate, rainy day wedding on the Seattle Waterfront.
Matt and Kim began their day with a Ray LaMontagne record spinning softly on the turntable, while they got ready together at their amazing house.
They read their handwritten vows while family and friends gathered around in a circle. I really liked one line that Matt quoted from a Mumford and Son’s song:
“…where you invest your love, you invest your life”
It was an honor to photograph the wedding of two kindhearted people who have dedicated themselves to helping the community.

It was a treat to wake up early in the morning and catch this incredibly awesome sunrise over the tulip fields in Mount Vernon, WA.
The sun put on a show for us as it slowly rose over the Cascade Mountains and filled the sky with the beautiful golden glow in the photo below.

It always feels so peaceful to enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. We’re truly blessed to live in an area that provides so many options for hikes and trails, and not to mention all the stunning views. Here’s a photo from our Wallace Falls hike:
